Friction Gong Mallet – resonance without striking

This friction mallet for a gong (flumie) permits resonance of a gong without a traditional strike. A gentle pull across the gong's surface generates long, pulsating, and fluctuating tones, which are favored in meditation, sound therapy, and sound healing.
